Consultancy services. The following training programs will be organized in collaboration with the Kenya National Chamber of commerce and industry (KNCCI) and Kiriri Women University of Science and Technology. (KWUST). Corporate Leadership for Young Business Executives - February 2008 and May 2008 This seminar helps emerging leaders tackle their biggest challenges: leading change, building effective teams, employing leadership in action, and developing leadership throughout their organizations. Participants will assess their own leadership roles and explore the qualities of an effective leader. Strategic Negotiations: Deal Making for Young Business Executives - March 2008 and August 2008. This program is intended to empower Young Business Executives to negotiate business deals successfully. It will incorporate interpersonal skills in an action-oriented framework that enables negotiators to bring together the right players to deal with the right set of issues. Participants acquire useful skills, strategies and techniques that add value to deal making.
Performance Measurement for Effective Management in an Organizations – April 2008 and July 2008 In this age of performance contracts, organizations are under pressure to develop measurable performance indicators so as to determine and improve the effectiveness of their activities. This Course will help address this challenging task by demonstrating measurement and its impact on resource allocation, organizational leaning, internal processes, and internal and external accountability. Corporate Social Responsibility Course: Strategies to Create Business and Social Value - May 2008 and September 2008 This Course is designed to help senior executives integrate social responsibility with corporate strategy and create social value in their organizations. It explores the socio-economics, socio- political consequences and the value creation of corporate social responsibly of investment decisions. Participants learn how to improve economic performance while contributing to the society and also discover how to align corporate culture with social responsibility strategies as well as how to measure their impact on the organization—and on the bottom line. Entrepreneurship Development Course – June 2008 and October 2008 The course is developed to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset in women enterprises. It is intended to prepare young women executives to assess the rewards in business ideas, risks and viability of emerging opportunities in business. The program presents frameworks for identifying and exploring emerging business opportunities and for supporting the transition from a new venture to a high-growth business that will propel company new levels of performance.
