About UsHi! I wanted to tell you a little bit about us and what prompted us to begin this website. www.invest-in-kenya.com is a patriotic initiative that was started on 10th May 2007 with an aim of encouraging Kenyans (locally and those living in Diaspora) to contribute towards the development of Kenya by creating awareness of the various avenues of potential business opportunities that are currently available and laying emphasis on the slogan that reads,“Buy Kenya, build Kenya.” Allow me to use an example (I came across these wise words and I just had to put them on this about us web-page), when I think of abundance, I think of the bumble-bee. He goes from flower to flower collecting nectar. He is on a mission to gather nectar to support his hive. So he's already doing well. But in the meantime he's also pollinating the whole garden. That's what we want to do: we make money. But in the process we spin off plenty of new jobs, products and processes. As the saying goes, "The primary reason to get..is to have more so as to give." Bees do it by accident but we want to do it on purpose! We also believe that the ultimate purpose of wealth is to help others. We ask ourselves: Is there a kind nurturing way to make money? And the obvious answer is yes there is!!Our mission at invest-in-kenya.com is to find such opportunities and use them to the maximum effect. Moreover, we firmly believe in THREE major rules that relate to helping others as you better yourself. These three rules are set in stone under the title of "The Three Prongs of The Progressive Investor" and they read as follows: - i) Do no harm - The progressive investor commits to avoid any wealth building activity that harm or impoverish other people. Create only abundance, never scarcity. ii) Do much good - The progressive investor enjoys creating wealth that improves the lives of many people. iii) Operate Out of Stewardship - While personal wealth has its many joys and priviledges, it attains its full meaning only when it results in an ongoing legacy to bless others.
The content in our pages encompasses the importance of relying on new innovations of energy production such as biodiesel and also advocates for the popularization of other existing energy sources that include biogas and solar energy. Moreover, we also provide an insight into some of the world’s most serene tourism attractions, real estate, the Nairobi stock exchange market, micro-investment, business consultants and real estate ventures. We started without any prior knowledge about how to build a website in April 2007 and we have learned more than we ever thought possible about this whole site-building process.
